The Client
GoQuo is one of the most dynamic and established software solution providers in the UK. Headquartered in London, GoQuo products are used by UK, US and Australian clients in having a more dynamic presence on the online market place, assisting companies in their market expansion and optimizing their efficiency through robust and cost-effective technology solutions.

GoQuo provides multi-level consultancy on travel affiliated industries in regard to trends in travel technology advancement. GoQuo allows the passenger to go through the complete inventory of the travel agent or travel consolidator in one seamless search. Combining the complex processes of checking multiple flight (schedules & lo cost), multiple types of fares (Nett, student, consolidated or published), multiple suppliers, hotel, car, insurance and cruise availabilities (along with matching all these availabilities in coherent packages), GoQuo gives the traveler the ability to create and customize the package that is most suitable to his requirements.

The Challenge
GoQuo required feature for group booking tickets online, the regular booking feature allows user to book maximum of 9 tickets per login as the web services provides posting of booking details only for maximum of 9 passengers for one booking. The existing architecture depended upon the service provider’s features.

The challenge was to use complex logics and algorithm to cater users with diverse requirement of their travel itinerary. The system had to manage and suggest various options when the request for bookings is not available. Also, the Group Booking required Travel Agents and service provider’s admin screen to manage and synchronize the bookings.








The Solution
Hanodale helped GoQuo introduce Group Booking by provided an end-to-end solution using the state-of-the-art technology and exploiting the potentials of Microsoft’s WPF, WCF and XML web services architecture.




The GUI
Customers were provided with an online form to post their booking request for more than 9 passengers. User is allowed to select the number of passengers for each category and post the booking request for airlines, hotels, tours and transfers for selected destination on specified date.

 

The Web Service
The web service designed to capture customer’s request was designed using WCF and XML and post request to the respective service providers. The return response from different providers was again formatted and recorded for admin to process bookings.

 

Content Management Module
Admin was allowed to view and manage the booking requests through a user-friendly GUI. Admin GUI allowed Customers to interact with Admin via mail and messaging tool to manage the bookings and confirming the itinerary.
